Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
- Light - 0.38 Mils
- Medium - 0.58 Mils
- Heavy - 0.78 Mils
- X-Heavy - 0.98 Mils
Polyethylene (PE) is the material used in over half of all plastic films today and low density polyethylene (LDPE) is the source of most poly bags. The polybags, film and tubing we provide are made from LDPE because of its great tensile strength, clarity, flexibility and water barrier properties. It is also resistant to most caustic compounds.
Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)
Our liners are produced from "Octene" Linear Low Density Polyethylene, (LLDPE) resins, the highest grade of LLDPE available for liners. This premium raw material provides a product of tremendous strength. We provide these LLDPE Liners in 4 weights for various applications.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
High Density (Hi D) bags are made from a thinner gauge material to lower bag and freight costs and reduce storage requirements. High Density bags have great strength and provide a water barrier. High Density bags are not as clear and are less flexible than LDPE bags.
All of our LDPE bags are Recyclable.
- Light weight 1 or 1.25 mil bags are ideal for economical packaging and coverage of lightweight products.
- Medium weight 1.5 and 2 mil bags are the most commonly used thicknesses for storing, shipping, or displaying everyday items.
- Heavy weight 3 mil and extra-heavy 4 mil bags are capable of protecting and supporting heavy and abrasive items.
- 6 mil bags are our toughest bags and offer total protection for the heaviest products.
Plastic/Poly Bag Dimensions
There are two tyupes of Plastic Bags, Layflat (flat) and Gusseted.Layflat
There are Three dimensions for each Layflat bag.
- Length (L)
- Width (W)
- Guage
GussettedThere are four dimensions for each Gusseted bag.
- Length (L)
- Width (W)
- Depth (D)
- Guage
Poly Liners and Poly Trash Bags
These Poly Liners can stand up against the national brands found in retail stores.
High DensityHi Density (Hi D) bags are made from a thinner gauge material to lower bag and freight costs and reduce storage requirements. Our star-seal design provides added strength and reduces breakage.
Low Density Poly Liners and Compactor Bags
These bags are ideal for rigorous applications and are perfect when nothing else stands up. Constructed from a heavy gauge low density plastic, these liners resist breakage and puncturing under serious demands.
Linear Low Density Liners
Our liners are produced from "Octene" linear low density, (LLDPE) resins, the highest grade of LLDPE available for liners. This premium raw material provides a product of tremendous strength. Our star-seal bottoms on bags over 31" gives additional security and our tubular construction eliminates breakage along side seams. We provide these LLDPE Liners in 4 weights for various applications.

Fitting Bags To Containers
For a Round Container Width:
To determine the width of the bag, multiply the diameter of the container by 3.14 and divide by 2. Add 1" for a looser fit.
Length:
For Liners Only: To determine the length of the bag, add 1/2 of the diameter to the length of the container. Add 5" to this for the total for overhang.
For Tying Bag Only: Same as liners but add 1/2 the diameter to the bag length.
To Line Cartons/Boxes
Add the Width and the Length of the sides. Add 2" for a looser fit. The total equals the "Flat width" of the bag needed.
Add 1/2 of the Height of the container. Add 5" for an overhang. This equals the length of the bag needed.)
Tying Bag
If tying bag rather than lining carton, add 1/2 the length of the shortest side of the bag length.
-
Example:
- To determine the width of the bag: L+W+2 or 14(L)+12(W)+2=28
- To determin the height of the bag: 21(H)+6(1/2W or 10)+5=32
- The ideal size to line the carton is: 28 x 32 x guage or 16 x 12 x 32 x guage
To line a carton sized 14(L) x 12(W) x 21(H)
Markable Zipper Bags
Parts bags and bags with a white block for marking are ideal for organizing and displaying products. Our 3 mil Zipper Bags can handle even the toughest parts.
Zipper Bags
These Zipper Bags offer real savings without sacrificing the quality you demand.
MeasuringThe length of Zipper Bags is measured by the inside dimensions of the Body, without the zipper or Lip included.
Quality
These bags have been chosen for their ability to rival any reclosable bag and offer savings. All of our Zipper Bags are FDA approved and offer surprising clarity.
