Working with New York Community Bank comprised of over 270 branches and 7 divisions, BagsOnTheNet has to solve a multitude of problems and to make sure their corporate branding and image stay consistent through a wide array of bags and products. Some of the services provided on an ongoing basis; custom bag and product designs to fit their needs, meeting specific deadlines, Global Sourcing to maximize product quality and minimize cost and logistically handling the mass distribution of the many different promotional bags and products provided to all of their locations.
After earning a small order from NYCB on a Promotional Halloween Plastic Bag, BagsOnTheNet has over time become a trusted vendor that helps monitor their costs and provide better solutions. NYCB sets each project’s objectives and BagsOnTheNet is always there for the challenge.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)Custom Printing, Short/Specific Deadline, Product
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has been a long time client of BagsOnTheNet. To complement its existing line of merchandise for sale on its web site, the WWE wanted a branded packaging for the holidays. The packaging would be for sale along with its other merchandise.
This project has some very interesting features.
1. Produce WWE branded gift bags
2. Produce WWE branded Retail Pack
3. Meet budget requirements for resale
BagsOnTheNet produced several pieces for the project: High Gloss Laminated Printed Paper Shopping Bags, Printed Tissue Paper, Printed Giftwrap and Printed Apparel Boxes. Once produced, the high-gloss laminated branded Gift Bag was 'stuffed' with branded tissue paper and poly wrapped making for one resale item. A poly wrapped Retail Pack, which included 2 branded gift boxes, 2 branded pre-cut pieces of gift wrap and 2 pieces of branded tissue paper became the second resale item. The custom printed resale Gift Bag and Retail Pack emblazoned with the WWE logo marketed the brand all the way from the WWE wrap to the WWE merchandise.
Under a short deadline, BagsOnTheNet produced and assembled these quality products into resale items. BagsOnTheNet was able to maintain tight budget constraints, allowing the WWE to profitably price these resale gift packages for their loyal customer base.
West Point StevensProblem Solving, Custom Printing, Custom Bags, Store Wide Distribution
Overview:Westpoint Stevens, a major bath and bedding manufacturer with over 30 nationwide outlet stores had a long-term bag and packaging supply vendor that was not fulfilling their needs. BagsOnTheNet was given the opportunity to show them their reliable bags and service.
Project Goals:WestPoint Stevens had two areas of concern; the constant breaking of bag handles and distribution of store bags to the individual store locations. They needed a new set of bags that was going to hold up to the bulk and weight of their blankets and bedding products and get the store bags to their store locations quickly and efficiently.
Result:With design parameters in hand, BagsOnTheNet was able to produce a set of bags that incorporated an extremely durable bag and handle design allowing for the heaviest and bulkiest of products. BagsOnTheNet set up a store-door distribution scheme where individual stores faxed/emailed their usage requests directly to BagsOnTheNet for distribution within 24 hours.
As a result of both solutions, WestPoint Stevens was able to reduce their distribution costs and the cost per bag -which is a substantial savings when your stores are using millions of bags per year. Rosemount Estates WineCustom Bag Design, Custom Printing, Specific Deadline, Global Sourcing
Overview:Rosemount Estate has been an internationally recognized vineyard for several decades. With the upcoming release of what Rosemount believed was to be their finest Shiraz yet, they decided to take a unique marketing stance in order to differentiate themselves from the pack.
Project Goals:After deciding a unique carrying bag for their wine bottle would be the exact marketing angle they wished to take, Rosemount turned to BagsOnTheNet.
Rosemount set the project specs and goals for their bag:
- The bag must be sturdy enough to carry a wine bottle
- The bag must be different and predominately stand out from all the other bottles
- 75,000 bags must be designed, produced and delivered in time for full holiday marketing
Result:BagsOnTheNet.com produced a unique, triangular shaped bag, clearly displaying the Rosemount brand. Using a semi-transparent frosted bag with bright red writing, it was hard for the product not to catch your eye. The bag itself was not only inviting because of its triangular shape but also served dual purpose as a proper wine bottle gift bag. The entire project was delivered in time and on budget successfully to Rosemount giving their marketing department the ability to fully utilize and distribute the 75,000 bags to their distribution network.
Oxford Health PlansCustom Printing, Coordinated Packaging, Brand Integrity
Overview:For an upcoming trade show, Oxford Health Plans needed a bag solution to easily promote their brand. They needed to differentiate from the pack without excluding themselves.
Project Goals:The goals of this project were to produce 60,000 trade show bags that would continue the marketing of the Oxford Health Plans brand. Additionally, in the health care industry, it is important to be health conscious... even if it's global health. This was accomplished simply offering the exact same bag in "paper or plastic".
Result:BagsOnTheNet successfully produced coordinated packaging by maintaining Oxford Health Plan's true coloring and logo across both paper and plastic trade show bags. The bags were constructed large enough so that trade show visitors would choose to use the Oxford Health Plans bag as their 'bag of choice'. And speaking of choice... the "paper or plastic" option allowed many environmentally conscious people to choose the type bag of their choice. With about 75,000 people attending over the 5 day event, all 60,000 bags were successfully distributed. According to one trade show attendee "all you saw was blue"
